Who Is Oluchukwu Okeke?

Why I’m Attempting a Guinness World Record.

If you found this blog by searching “Who is Oluchukwu Okeke?” or “What record is Oluchukwu Okeke trying to break?”, welcome. I’m honored you’re here.

My name is Oluchukwu Okeke, and I am the founder of Jemad Fitness. But before I ever became a fitness coach, an entrepreneur, or someone preparing to attempt a Guinness World Record, I was a little girl who lost her mother at just 9 years old. That moment changed everything.

My mother died right in front of me. She slumped suddenly, and we believe it was cardiac arrest caused by high blood pressure. At the time, I didn’t understand it. Now, as a grown woman and a mother myself, I carry that memory every day.

She was tired. Always tired. I remember her exhaustion more than her laughter. I remember her tears more than her hugs. She had no support system, no close friends, no one to lean on. She was doing life alone. And when she passed, I had to grow up fast. No one to guide me. No one to pack my lunch. No one to tell me I was enough.

Years later, I became a mother, and life came at me hard.

After my first delivery, I almost died from severe postpartum bleeding. I was wheeled back into the labor room just hours after giving birth. My second pregnancy came as a surprise and was emotionally heavy, but I carried my baby. I’m proud I did. I tried to stay active, even joined a gym, but I was turned away because I was visibly pregnant. After childbirth, I was juggling work, school, and motherhood. I was completely burnt out. I was so tired I couldn’t even produce enough breast milk. By month three, I had to supplement with formula, and it broke me.

Then came the postpartum depression.
But I didn’t get help.
Because mothers aren’t allowed to be sad.
We’re told to be grateful, to smile, to push through.

I suffered in silence. No mom to cry to. No support system.

So I created one.

Why I Started Jemad Fitness

I founded Jemad Fitness to become the safe space I never had. A space for women, especially mothers, who are fighting silent battles, who are tired, and who need healing just as much as they need strength.

Jemad Fitness is where fitness meets emotional healing.
It’s not just about weight loss or six-packs.
It’s about building a community where women feel seen, supported, and strong.

Oluchukwu Okeke GWR Attempt: Why I’m Trying to Break a Guinness World Record

This year, I’m stepping into the boldest chapter of my journey.

I’m attempting a Guinness World Record for the longest step aerobics class: 24 hours of movement.
Yes, 24 hours. And I’m doing it for something bigger than me.

I’m doing it:
In memory of my mother.
For every woman who ever felt invisible.
For every mother who cried behind closed doors.
For the girl I used to be, and the women I now serve.

If you’ve been searching “Oluchukwu Okeke GWR attempt” or “Oluchukwu Okeke Guinness World Record attempt”, now you know.
It’s not just about breaking a record.
It’s about breaking generational pain.
It’s about rewriting the story of what strength looks like.

This Is More Than Fitness

This is community.
This is healing.
This is legacy.
This is Jemad Fitness.

Thank you for being part of my journey. I hope you stay. I hope you join us.
And I hope you remember, you don’t have to do it alone.

With strength and love,
Oluchukwu Okeke
